GOSH I MISSED THIS. Hello! It’s me! How have all of you been? Are you feeling the Christmas spirit already???

I’ve already done my Christmas shopping, which is exciting, but S T R E S S F U L, I don’t even know how I managed to squeeze this in my busy busy schedule.
Allow me to say to you that I’m very satisfied with my grades this term~ I couldn’t believe I would get those since I’m in my majors now and things have gotten extra difficult that I don’t even have time to do other stuff anymore, but hey I got a chance to be part of APEC 2015 (WHICH WAS AMAZEBALLS)! Anyways, because of this, I AM VERY HAPPY and I am feeling super inspired to write! ~~
Five exams, three baby thesis chapters, quizzes here and there, and a bazillion homework later, I finally have the time to sit down in front of my laptop and not type anything academically related (but isn’t that what I am doing right now *sigh* I can never get out).
It’s so exciting to write about food again, since what I’ve been doing for the past few weeks was to write about the EU and China’s foreign aid disbursements (not that I don’t love it, because I do in fact LOVE International Studies. Studies, in general, just get too overwhelming sometimes, if ya know what I mean)
Moving on, I posted on my Instagram before that I ate in Nikkei, which I hope you still remember (???) WELL THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE BLOG POST FOR THAT INSTAGRAM POST. Please pardon my writing style for I am still reeling from theoretical perspectives and policy-making processes. I guess this is what I would coin as a writing jetlag because I’m still getting used to the shift from writing in the context of International Relations to writing in the context of food and dining. Phew.
Oh by the way, with all the acads going on, I have also been busy helping my parents in decorating our new penthouse! SO IT HAS REALLY BEEN A WHIRLWIND OF TASKS. I can’t wait to try the new restaurants in QC and share my adventures there with you guys!

School has been, as expected, stressful, which is why I was looking forward to Reena’s birthday party on Friday. I was anticipating it so much that I kept asking if it was Friday already.
So when the day came, I CASTED ASIDE ALL MY SCHOOLWORKS and made way for the food and fun to come!
The day before, Tricia and I bought a cake and some balloons to surprise Reena the next day.
Reena and I share the same, not dorm, but pad (charaught), so we’re basically unofficial roomies. She comes by everyday and I cook breakfast or dinner for her with my super adorbs mini rice cooker from Cuisintec

I knowwwww it’s been so long since I posted. As you all know, school has started and so has the S T R E S S. The amount of readings just won’t decrease and thesis writing has officially began, although we’re still in the process of choosing a topic. So yes, you can deduce that school has kept me occupied for the past few weeks.
When it comes to our family, the celebrations never really end.
There’s a lot to celebrate about life and that includes life itself na parang second home na yata namin) two days in a row with us and her friends a week after her actual birthday, oh diba go lang ng go! Syempre aariba rin si mother dear! #AbetTurns25 charing!
The thing with having a long summer break is that there is plenty of time to do anything.
Now that the next school year is just around the corner, I called up my bff Reena to aura and ariba our way while we have yet to be consumed by papers, homework and exams. Since it has also dawned to her that we only have a couple of weeks left to make the most of our summer holiday, she agreed (she had no choice anyway lol) I suggested we have our date at Greenbelt because where’s a better place to aura and ariba than Greenbelt? I also thought we could finally give the latest tonkatsu place in town, Maisen, a visit~
